WHY DESERT BRONZE:
Desert Bronze was formulated after 13 years of self tanning experience. From towelettes, lotion, sprays.. everything was tested. I found that mousse was the only way to go when it comes to self tanning. Easy application and streak free. But finding the perfect product was impossible. From orange skin to the typical self tanner smell, to those embarrassing streaks… Enough was enough.
This product spent a year in production making sure that all expectations were met. A flawless dark color after ONE application that leaves you a natural tone (NOT ORANGE). You are streak free and no awkward phase between the next application.
Q: How do I prep before my application?
A: Shower, exfoliate, shave, and dry skin completely. DO NOT apply any lotion or oils to skin before application if you want the area tan.
Q: How do I apply it?
A: Apply 1-2 pumps of foam to provided mitt. Apply to one body part at a time. (I personally start with my chest/neck, then to arms, stomach, thighs, lower legs, hands/feet, face and lastly my back) Apply in a circular motion. Apply lightly to the following areas: Face, hands, ankles, knees, and elbows.
Q: How often do I need to apply it?
A: One coat of Desert Bronze will last 5-7 days. If you want a very consistent dark tan with no fade time I suggest every 4 days.
Q: Will it fade or get patchy like most self tanners?
A: Like any self tanner it will fade with time. There is not patchy phase with Desert Bronze.
Q: I have waited to long before reapplying or I have several coats and want a fresh start?
A: If you have any dark patches due to dryer areas of skin and you want to remove the tan, you have applied and applied over a long period of time and want it all off for a new start, or have waited too long before reapplying and want a fresh start.. Soak in the tub or long shower, use your favorite scrub ( not necessary) and an exfoliating mitt or loufa. Scrub vigorously. The new tan application will cover and distribute very well if not all tan is removed!! Do not stress.. Just add more tan! Trust me!
Q:When can I shower?
A: Please allow 6-8 hours before showering after application.
Q: How long does it take to dry on skin?
A: Tan application will dry within 3-5 minutes.
Q: Will it come off on my clothes?
A: Only if you immediately put on clothing before allowing to fully dry. If you do not rinse tan and your skin or clothing gets wet or you sweat. But only in this instance.
Q: Will it sweat off??
A: If you are wearing very tight clothing and are sweating extensively the tan will want to rub off like any self tanner or spray tan. But do not stress. Simply shower, exfoliate in the general area and reapply as directed above.
Q: The color is dark but I want EVEN DARKER?
A: No problem!! Either apply a second coat on first application or after showering (6-8 hours after application) simply apply another coat!
Q: Why use a mitt?
A: I would not sell this product with out a mitt included. I have had tan palms too many times to leave that out for my customers. USE THE MITT!! You will achieve a streak free tan with clean palms this way!
Q: How do I maintain my tan?
A: Do not scrub body unless you exfoliating for new application. Wash lightly with soap. Using a daily moisturizing lotion will greatly improve the life time of your tan. When drying off DO NOT RUB roughly.
Q: Will it rinse off in the shower??
A: Like ANY self tanner or spray tan.. the solution will wash off BUT will leave you with a flawless, dark tan.
Q: Does Desert Bronze expire?
A: Yes, BUT NOT UNTIL YOU HAVE HAD IT A YEAR! 12 month self life
Q: Is it safe?
A: Desert Bronze is one of very few self tanning products that is 100% Vegan, organic and PETA approved. No harmful additives!
Please use this sizing chart as a reference. Some items run smaller or bigger than what is shown. Some smalls fit more like an extra-small or they may fit more like a medium depending on how they run. We will try to put this information in the item description. If you are unsure about what size you need, feel free to message us! If you are in between sizes, we suggest going up a size. So if you are an 8/10, we suggest going with a large.

Time Frame: Items must be received back to our warehouse no later than 30 days from the date you received your order. Be sure to plan 5-10 days for transit time. Please use a tracking service when shipping back a return.
Items discounted 30% or more will not be accepted as returns.

Refund Type: Store credit will be issued to the customer account. We do NOT offer exchanges. Credit is valid for one year from issue date. Original shipping fees are non-refundable & return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Returns sent in that do NOT meet the above criteria are subject to a 20% restocking fee OR subject to invoicing you to be shipped back to you.
Please be sure to use a tracking service when shipping back a return. We are not responsible for lost packages when shipping back a return.
All items must be returned in NEW condition. This means items must be unworn, unwashed, odor & pet hair free, must not have deodorant, make up, have tags on or food stains in order to be eligible for store credit. When returning shoes, please DO NOT return with tape & shipping labels stuck to the actual shoe box. The shoe box MUST BE returned in a mailing box or wrapped in paper. If any of the return items are found in the above conditions, we will return the item to you and you are required to pay the shipping.
NO RETURNS ON SWIMWEAR. All sales are final.

The Exceptions: Items in the "Clearance" section, anything discounted, scarves, belts, socks, hair accessories, earrings and undergarments (bandeaus, bralettes, camis, etc) are final and cannot be returned.

Defective Items: if you believe you received a defective item you must notify us by Facebook message within three days of the delivery confirmation date, otherwise it is considered wear and tear. No exceptions.
Incorrect or Missing Items: If you received your order and there is an item missing OR you received the incorrect item, you must inform us within 3 days of receiving your order.
DURING BLACK FRIDAY, PLEASE ALLOW AN EXTRA 3-4 BUSINESS DAYS FOR ORDERS TO SHIP. ALL HANDS WILL BE ON DECK AND WE WILL BE WORKING HARD TO GET ALL ORDERS OUT IN A TIMELY MANNER. WE APPRECIATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING.
Once a package is shipped from our warehouse, it is out of our hands if a package is lost.The Lace Cactus will not be held responsible. If you feel as though your package has been lost, please submit a claim to USPS here.
All packages sent out have GPS tracking information embedded in the barcode.
If an item states "delivered" but you did not receive you will need to contact your local post office in the event that they mistakenly stated the package as delivered, but still have it in their possession. If the package does not turn up with those steps, we must allow 15 business days (excluding holidays and weekends) for the package to show up. If it does not turn up within this time frame, we ask that you email email@example.com for further steps.
If your tracking shows "delivered" and you have not received your package, The Lace Cactus IS NOT responsible. This issue must be resolved with the United States Postal Service or your local law enforcement.
EXPRESS SHIPPING: Once orders are placed, the items will be shipped in 24-48 unless otherwise notified. If you need your items sooner, please reach out to us vai FB messenger or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make arrangements to rush your items. Orders placed after 5PM CST on Friday's will be processed Monday.

If an order is shipped from The Lace Cactus to an incorrect address that you as the customer provided, you as the customer will be responsible to repay for reshipping. Who do you ship through?
We ship all orders through the United States Postal Service.
When your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number to the e-mail provided.

When will my order ship?
Orders are usually shipped out within 3-5 business days.
Orders placed on Friday and the weekends will go out the next week.
We do not ship on Saturday, Sunday or on holidays.
Where is my package?
If your tracking says your package has been delivered, yet it's nowhere to be found please contact your local post office.
Also, be sure to check with reception or the office if you live in a building with multiple residents.
If your tracking is not updating for some reason, please contact your local post office. They can check on the status for you.
Be sure to check your order information to make sure you entered the correct shipping information.
My order is incorrect, or I'm missing an item.
If your order arrives and is incorrect, please contact us through our facebook page within 3 days of receiving your order. Be sure to include any pertinent information such as what is incorrect, what you should have received, your email and order number. We will do our best to fix the issue.
If you are missing an item, please check your email to be sure we haven't sent you an email stating an item was flawed or out of stock. If you have not received this and a refund, please message us to let us know about the missing item. Contact us through our facebook page. My item arrived defective, now what?
If you believe that you have received a flawed or broken item, please contact us right away (within 3 days of receiving your order). Send us a message with a photo of the flaw or break and your order number. If you do not contact us within 3 days of receiving the item we can only assume the damage is from wear. I would like to exchange something, how do I do this?
We do not do exchanges. Due to the limited quantity of our merchandise we cannot guarantee that the item you want to exchange for will be available when we receive your return. We will not exchange an item for a different item. We strongly recommend that you place a new order for the item you are wanting in order to make sure you get it.
I placed an order and then I received a refund, what's going on?
Unfortunately, it means that an item in your order is not available or that we found an issue with the item. We will usually send an e-mail alerting you that an item is out of stock or flawed and that you have been refunded.
An item I want is out of stock, will it be restocked?
Unfortunately, we cannot always reorder the items we have carried. If an item sells out super quick, we will try as hard as we can to restock it. The restock may be in a few days or it could be a few weeks. It all depends on how quickly our vendor can get us the merchandise.
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
The Lace Cactus does not offer wholesaling, we are not a manufacturer of clothing.
How come some items don't come in bigger sizes?
When we order products from the vendors they usually only come in sizes Small-Large. If the item is available in more sizes then we will order those as well. The vendors do not take sizing requests and we get what is available.
